Dining

Fresh, delicious food is available every lunch and evening (apart from Sunday evenings when the kitchen take a well-earned rest). The menu is seasonal and will change from day to day depending on what is fresh from our suppliers. We’ve attached a sample of our main menu below.

On Sundays we have a choice of 2 or 3 roasts and our regular menu. All our Sunday meat is locally sourced.

We believe that in a country pub you should always be able to order a baguette to go with your pint and so our baguettes, with a choice of tasty fillings and accompanied by our hand-cut chips, are available every lunchtime except for Sundays.

The Hawkley Inn is well known by real ale enthusiasts for variety, quality and consistency, especially as CAMRA Portsmouth & East Hants Pub of the Year 2008.

 

We do not believe in keeping the same beers on all the time. We have 12 beer engines, so there is sure to be something you’ll like - including Perries and Ciders.
