Dining

Our chalk board menu shows food available during the week. We also have an à la carte menu available on Friday and Saturday evenings.

 

If you have any special requests or dietary requirements please do contact us.  We will do all we can to help.

 

On Sundays we have a choice of 2 or 3 roasts and our regular menu. All our Sunday meat is locally sourced.

We believe that in a country pub you should always be able to order a baguette or a ploughman's to go with your pint and so our baguettes with a choice of tasty fillings or our Cheddar and Stilton ploughman's are available every day at lunchtime. Jacket potatoes are available too with a range of fillings.

The Hawkley Inn is well known by real ale enthusiasts for variety, quality and consistency, especially as CAMRA Portsmouth & East Hants Pub of the Year 2008.

 

We do not believe in keeping the same beers on all the time. We have 10 beer engines, so there is sure to be something you’ll like - including Perrys and Ciders.

Should you wish to join us for a hearty Full English Breakfast, this is served on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:30am to 11:00am. Please ensure that you contact us to book your place the day before.
